Just read that if you have sent one check for 1-140 & 485 then the whole package will be returned and you would have to refile your I140. If you have sent separate checks then they will just return the I485 part of your package.

I had filed my I485 directly at TSC , the address which was listed on my I140 Receipt on June 25th as per the advise given by IO when i called the 800#

This if u sent your packet by US postal mail . Fedex and other courier dont deliver to PO boxes . There is another street address for other courier.

clearing the cookies resolved the issue. On the second visit issue reappears again.
I see another issue/bug with IV. I have been observing this for a long time.
Though one particular thread shows 102 pages, the maximum I can go is 98th page. I think somehow the page counting logic is wrong.
BTW I am using Chrome browser

I got notices from CSC too yesterday. The notice has a receipt date of Sep. 18, 2007 and a notice date of Sep. 19, 2007. The notice says that my petition was filed at CSC which is not the correct service center and has been transferred to NSC. NSC will be getting back to me with action taken. The notice has no information regarding Priority date or Attorney inspite of having a approved I140 and G-28 form included in the petitions
I immediately contacted my Attorney. Turns out we had Fedexed the applications on July 20th to the NSC and was recieved at the NSC on July 23rd. According to the attorneys, NSC probably transferred applications across various service centers for data entry and these applications are now being transferred back to NSC. It is very likley that the actual receipts will be issued by NSC. To play it safe, my attorneys will be sending a letter to the NSC documenting this and requesting that they be sent the correspondence from hereon.
Hopefully, thats what it is. Have you asked your attorneys their opinion?

When USCIS ignored AC 21 and denied I-485, did anyone file for Writ of Mandamus?
What are the costs involved?
How much time does it take to get a ruling from the court?
Per Wikipedia "The applicant pleading for the writ of mandamus to be enforced should be able to show that he has a legal right to compel the respondent to do or refrain from doing the specific act. The duty sought to be enforced must have two qualities:[3]It must be a duty of public nature and the duty must be imperative and should not be discretionary."
The last sentence is key. AC21 is the law but USCIS issued multiple 'Memos' clarifying, making rules, giving 'recommendations' etc etc. These memos are not cast in law but sound like "discretionary". It also perhaps depends on the exact reasons for denial. Did the person get an RFE before a denial, the applicant move to same or similar job, was the I140 approved or was it merely 'approvable'. Many moving parts.

I have been arrested on Domestic Violence call by my wife ( of cource false allegations) about month back. Police investigation did not find any evidences and never sent file to DA for filing hence DA never filed charges.
Now USCIS requesting following
1) Please submit an arrest record and final court dispositions for each of your arrests. Court dispositions must be in the original and bear the stamp and/r seal of the appropriate court or clerk. If a court disposition or police record is not available, you must provide official or certified evidence from the appropriate law enforcement agency or court confirming the record in unavailable. Please note, these documents must either be the original or certified copy.
How to get court deposition or evidence that no charge are filed against this arrest?
I have filed petition for expunging arrest record but that will take a while to conclude.
Please advice what proof I can send to USCIS that this arrest did not even result in charges in court.
