Try going to settings->application settings
Once the page loads, go to the drop down box and select "allowed to post"
Find farmville and click edit settings and you can change it there.
Also, on the news page you can go and click the hide next to any farmville news, then you can select Hide Farmville. This will prevent it from showing up in the news feed.
Thank you so much for that. Hopefully it'll block it on my iPhone too.

every time a rumor comes up regarding "the" iPhone I will vote negative for it. i just can't hear it anymore.
If they release one, good, but please stop the rumors.

heheh - you forgot the 'memron' laptops next tuesday rumors
seriously though, is there any need for nanos or ipods if these new candybar/smartpda iphones come out? I mean what's the advantage of having two devices (phone & ipod) when you can just have the one - most likely cheaper - so is this the death of the ipod?

the 'what's new' page says "Work with RAW images from more than 50 camera models, including the Fuji S2, Fuji S3 Pro, and Sony A100." but i don't know which ones exactly .. i know the Fujis are new because i have the S9000/9500 which is still not supported and it didn't support any Fujis before
Did you read the previous posts? The complete list of supported cameras (http://www.apple.com/aperture/raw/cameras.html) was posted on the previous page...

all that is is a demonstration of how the graphics engine treats objects in OS X. its basically showing the layers and different renderings of the screen...they throw the dock in, then quicktime, the quicktime window, then the movie itself inside the window. its just a visual demonstration of the interface, its capabilities, and how it works.

Just buy a Slingbox and watch any channel you want, anywhere you want.
Ditto! Slingbox rocks! And it's even more fun when you have a friend or two in other states that allow you to use their Slingbox to watch events that are blacked out in your own area. :)

Notice Steve is the only guy without wine?
Not from the full size picture, it appears Obama is drinking water as well.
Actually, I only see two glasses of wine at the table...

Closing is very intuitive. You click the red close button. What's so hard about that? Same for minimize.. click the minimize button. If you honestly are having trouble with that, you're an idiot.
Dumbed down? You have command-line access via the Terminal. It's ****ing UNIX man. That's a lot more access than Windows gives you.
As for it crashing, you didn't say at all what version of X you were running or anything.
Macs "almost" qualify as computers? Yeah, okay.

Where did they say in the website that you need to buy antivirus software?
And did they compare the build quality or just specs?

This article led me to believe that the Army was after Apples's skills rather then their products. For example, creating intuitive platforms that do not require training.

"AT&T may 'periodically modify [their] promotions and distribution channels.'"
Not so much doubt cast, unless one believes that such periodic modifications are random and mercurial.
AT&T sucks, plain & simple. They've been allowed to score big w/ their exclusive iPhone contract, and think that marketing will remedy the problem.
Wake up Apple.

I have never heard of this guy. But having Geocities, Yahoo, and Microsoft on a resume doesn't inspire a great deal of confidence.
As a datacenter manager ? Quite the contrary, those are 3 big data center experiences right there.
As a product manager ? I'd agree with you.

It is so much easier to abort than to raise a child.
Are you suggesting it is harder to abort than to raise a child?
Until you've done both, and lived with the consequences, your opinion is worthless.

The point of PP seems to be to get rid of the consequences
PP offers a too easy fix to people's indiscretion
No, the point of PP is to give the tools and education to prevent pregnancy and disease. Abortion is a service offerred when there is an unwanted pregnancy.
My friend, there is nothing easy about abortion.

Indeed.
Really good that Apple Japan is stepping up with these commercials - iPods are ubiquitous now let's make the Mac too

they do a little but not to the extent of background processes, and having 20 push apps takes no more battery life than having 1, unless you get very frequent pushes from them of course.
Push Notifications are when your phone automatically checks for updates, alerts etc. without you having to open the app right? I guess it's just misleading to me because when I hear "push" notifications, I think of something that happens when I push the app or open it up.
Thanks for the fast response!

Let's hope he didn't use a cross compiler when making the app....
Haha, exactly what I was thinking.
Sometimes, the app store restrictions are a bit ridiculous, and when Apple realizes that they're dealing with people who know what they're doing, they remove those restrictions quickly.
